Earth, clay and Ochre mixed with acrylic
101cm wide x 50cm
The Earth's Line in the Sand continues my exploration of a surreal, half-remembered landscape, its earthy ochre tones holding hidden bursts of colour beneath the surface. A dark vein winds through the terrain like a boundary drawn by the land itself, tracing memory's movement. Thick texture invites the viewer to feel the landscape, not see a perfect rendition.
