Tara Johns is a Sydney-based painter and photographer whose work boldly projects the natural into the urban. With a background in photojournalism and formal training in Visual Art, her practice explores light, colour and texture through a heightened sensory perception. Drawing on rhythmanalysis and the light and space movement, Tara creates large, layered works that reveal the environment in fresh and unexpected ways.
